Last Updated on Monday, 14 March 2011 11:47 Written by infinetADs Tuesday, 8 March 2011 11:47
We all know that the more traffic that runs through a business, the higher chance that business has to strive and stay successful. Getting traffic to a business however, can be expensive and cost more than it is worth. This is why it is necessary to do research, get knowledgeable, and formulate resources. Explained below are six different ways to get traffic to your business for free!
Search Engines
There is nothing more favorable then someone finding your business, rather than the other way around. Search engines are seriously underestimated on the amount of power it potentially posses, plus it costs nothing! So why not milk it for all it is worth? Start by doing research on the most common keywords that are currently being used for your type of business. The idea here is to filter out the useless material and harvest the top keywords that are most successfully used. Once you have your top keywords, incorporate and embrace them in your business liberally. Do not forget that keywords consistently change, so make sure you stay updated with changes. When this strategy is done right, your efforts will pay off!
URL Signatures
Anytime your business contributes to both the internet and external outsources, it should be recognized and granted credit. This is a simple step to make your business’s thumbprint in the world with no financial cost. Any and all blogs, forums, donations, charities, sponsorships, sweepstakes, newsletters, and all other type of efforts and events are an opportunity to attract traffic to your business. URL signatures hold an endless list of chances to promote your business and get known.
Social Media
There is an old saying “Even negative publicity is publicity” which is a risk worth taking. Places such as YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Chat Rooms, and other social resources are overflowing with endless possibilities for your business to get noticed! You can start off small by posting a few blogs, a few helpful tips, a few personal experiences, or even a few words of advice. Just keep in mind the impression you want your business to have and always stay professional. Unfortunately, using social media as a resource can be risky. To avoid generating a negative outlook of your business, make sure to contribute to the community while advertising your business. Think of social media as a “give and take relationship” and do not take any feedback personal, take feedback as constructive criticism.
Link Your Business
This approach can be both favorable for building an affiliation with other businesses while building up your own business. Sharing traffic with other businesses can increase your business’s traffic more than triple the amount then your business standing alone. Before you link your business, first do your homework and make yourself well-informed. It is vital that you find out the reputation, status, and records of potential businesses that you are considering to link with. If you associate your business with a troubled company, your business could possibly develop a bad reputation and potentially decrease its growth rate.
Public Ads
The internet provides countless of websites to place free ads that will help your business reach out to the public. Some examples of these websites are ClassifiedAds.com, Skepter.com, FreeAdvertisingForum.com, WantedWants.com, Yahoo.com, and so many more. Finding the websites to place these free ads is only half the battle, having the right information displayed in the ad is what will really count. When you place an ad, aim for something simple to understand, appeals to most audiences’, and is catchy to memorize. Your goal here is to make an ad that stands out above the rest and is easy to remember.
Offline Promotions
Offline promotions are one of the most traditional methods to spread the word of a business and can leave a long lasting effect that online promotions cannot compete with. Some examples of offline promotions include, but not limited to, keepsake souvenirs (pens, fridge magnets, T-shirts, and so on), business cards, the business’s logo and information on your vehicles(s), and a word from mouth to friends and family.

Social Media Marketing is DYING!!!
Last Updated on Tuesday, 23 November 2010 05:05 Written by infinetADs Wednesday, 29 September 2010 08:35
Who knew social media would loose its flame so quickly? Well now everyone is just annoyed with all of the loud pop up advertisements or the 5000 spam emails.
It seems like every new page you go to there’s some loud obnoxious person yelling at me to by this, click here, or tell me I’ve won a 1000$ gift card(just give me all of your information!!HA).
Obviously “skilled” advertisers, that businesses are spending thousands on, have got it all wrong. No wonder social media is dying, people don’t want to be bombarded by someone yelling at them first thing when they click on a page or open their email.
There’s only one thing to do. People have to start getting personal and building relationships with their clientele. For example, you want to buy a car, Joe Smoe is an annoying car sales man that wont leave you alone and then there is Bobby, who asks if he can help in any way but backs off a little so you can think. Who are you going to use? Obviously Bobby! No one wants to deal with annoying sales tactics!!
Lets just face it, businesses are not going to get everything handed to them, they will have to work for our business!!!!
